Be prepared for “subtext.”

Who is the big spoon/little spoon: Faith lies on her back and Buffy’s the cuddly one, so she usually snuggles up next to Faith before they get to sleep.

What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Faith believes that there’s no such thing as a non-sexual activity. After the night of “watching TV,” “going out to dinner,” and “patrolling,” Buffy’s inclined to agree.

Who uses all the hot water in the morning: Buffy does. Faith sleeps until noon anyway, so by then there’s more water for her.

What they order from take out: EVERYTHING. After they go patrolling, they stop on the way home at an arbitrary shop and buy more food than anyone but a set of slayers could carry home. Of course, it takes them the whole night to finish “eating”… :D

What is the most trivial thing they fight over: They don’t share well, but Faith has a thing for stealing everything of Buffy’s anyway…so Buffy’s constantly running out of makeup/clean clothes/shampoo/chocolate. (She also claims that this isn’t trivial at all, but Faith disagrees. They “disagree” a lot.)

Who does most of the cleaning: Buffy does, though it’s reluctant on her part. But Faith has a finders-keepers policy on weapons, so Buffy has no choice but to put her things away…she doesn’t do the same with Faith’s things, though, so they lie out until Faith has need for them.

What has a season pass in their DVR: Faith doesn’t watch much TV, so Buffy chooses the shows. Lots of CW-type stuff.

Who controls the netflix queue: Buffy again. Faith isn’t much for sitting on the couch doing nothing. She’d much rather sit on the couch and do “nothing.”

Who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: Faith does. They have an uncooperative super and Faith’s more…persuasive about these things. Also, Buffy keeps trying to fix them by herself.

Who steals the blankets: All night battle!

Who leaves their stuff around:Faith does. Buffy does not, for reasons mentioned above.

Who remembers to buy the milk: Faith’s done the whole living alone gig before, and she remembers all the little things Buffy forgets. It makes her feel kinda good, to take care of her girlfriend. (And if Buffy actually does remember most times but keeps quiet to give Faith that, she’ll never tell.)

Who remembers anniversaries: They don’t celebrate anniversaries, because they don’t really remember how this all started. They’ve just kind of fallen into a relationship that started with sex and somehow ended in a cohabitation that was never made official, so there are no specific dates or times or gifts. There’s just two slayers living in the now.
