“And they have no purpose that unites them, so they just drift around, blundering through life until they die. Which they-they know is coming, yet every single one of them is surprised when it happens to them. They’re incapable of thinking about what they want beyond the moment. They kill each other, which is clearly insane, and yet, here’s the thing. When it’s something that really matters, they fight. I mean, they’re lame morons for fighting. But they do. They never… They never quit. And so I guess I will keep fighting, too.”
“Something bad is happening. I don’t want my friends out there alone right now.”

Who is the big spoon/little spoon: Buffy’s the big spoon usually, but they alternate.
What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Buying hair dye! :P Lol, in all seriousness, Anya spends many hours doing and redoing her hair. Buffy’s given up haircare for practicality years ago, but Anya persuades her to let her hair down and experiment with curls and colors like she used to. It’s girly and fun and Buffy doesn’t even realize how much she misses both those things until she starts them up again.
Who uses all the hot water in the morning: Buffy does. It drives Anya up the wall, especially since she needs to go out and make money in the morning, and every extra minute that Buffy takes means another minute when she can’t be working. Sometimes Anya sets her alarm clock ten minutes earlier to head Buffy off. …There’s a lot of banging on doors in mornings at the Summers home.
What they order from take out: Anya nags Buffy about taking care of herself when all she’ll order is fries…but then she’ll just order a salad, so she can’t really talk. She’s much more concerned about her figure than Buffy is, but Buffy just doesn’t notice how little she’s eating, so Anya makes wholehearted attempts at home-cooked meals to try and make sure that Buffy’s eating right. She’s very, very precise about her recipes, and half the time she’ll trash the whole thing if it doesn’t look exactly like the picture in the cookbook.
What is the most trivial thing they fight over: They don’t actually fight that much? Anya’s a little clingy but Buffy’s especially tolerant of it, and Buffy isn’t very good at following Anya’s rules for living together but Anya gets over it in time. Anya’s quick to anger but also quick to forgive, and Buffy can get snippy but Anya can too and so while there are brief squabbles, they never really escalate into fights.
Who does most of the cleaning: Anya, still attempting to be the perfect housewife(/moneymaker/childling). She overdoes it sometimes when Buffy wakes up in the middle of the night and finds her mopping the kitchen floor, and Buffy has to reassure Anya that she isn’t going to leave her because the house isn’t spotless and she doesn’t really notice the mess, anyway?
What has a season pass in their DVR: Buffy likes CW shows (we’ve done this one before! :D) Anya likes snuggling up next to Buffy under a warm blanket with her laptop and making Excel spreadsheets on their daily expenditures while Buffy watches.
Who controls the netflix queue: Buffy again, though Anya draws the line at bunny movies.
Who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: Buffy can fix it on my own! Just give me another minute, Anya rolls her eyes and calls the super.
Who steals the blankets: Buffy does, and then she tosses and turns until they’re all tangled up at her feet anyway and they both wake up freezing. It’s a good thing Anya’s a morning person or she’d get annoyed at Buffy for it…
Who leaves their stuff around:Buffy. It’s not that she can’t be bothered, it’s just that…she can’t be bothered. Anya keeps her things exactly in place, and comes home to a messy house on nights when Buffy finishes work early. (See also: fights about trivial things :D)
Who remembers to buy the milk: Anya remembers that they need it, Buffy gets it on her way home.
Who remembers anniversaries: Anya does first, and demands the precise monetary value of her gift beforehand so that she can match it, so Buffy doesn’t really have a choice but to remember, too. ;)
